Position: Community Manager
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
- Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management.
- Supervise on-site staff to ensure compliance with Asset Living policies and safety and fair housing guidelines.
- Perform financial management tasks including budgeting, monitoring deposits, rent collections, vendor invoices, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement yearly marketing and leasing plans; utilize marketing systems to achieve leasing goals.
- Show, lease, and move in prospective residents; handle resident complaints and retention programs.
- Plan and supervise administrative and maintenance activities; ensure timely reporting and inspections.
- Lead emergency response for the property and coordinate with staff, residents, and vendors to minimize liability.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or four years of housing industry experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
- Proficiency with on-site software and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to communicate with others, work overtime, weekends, and night hours in emergencies.
- Regularly sit or stand; move about to accomplish tasks; may require climbing stairs or ladders and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Work in various environments and temperatures; operate vehicles as needed.
License/Equipment
- Must have reliable transportation due to on-call requirements.
Salary Range: $19.00/hr - $21.00/hr
