Senior Partner, Advertising Sales – Walmart Connect (Beauty) – Hoboken

Base pay range: $108,000 – $216,000 per year

Role Overview

We are revolutionizing advertising at a scale unprecedented in the retail media industry. This role manages a key business portfolio within one of Walmart’s largest suppliers, delivering tailored retail media solutions that drive revenue and deepen brand connections with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with executive clients and senior partner stakeholders.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
• Shape annual joint strategies between Walmart and clients, leading cross‑functional teams to drive client success.
• Plan and achieve annual and incremental growth goals through the presentation of Walmart advertising products and solutions that help clients meet their marketing objectives.
• Conduct forward‑thinking, data‑driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, presenting high‑impact opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with account management partners, demonstrating strong backend knowledge and ensuring smooth operations.
• Travel as required to meet with brand teams, shopper marketing teams, and agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or equivalent professional industry experience.
• Quota‑carrying digital sales experience.
• Expertise in WMC products and/or digital media solutions, especially paid search, programmatic, and CTV.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, time‑management, organizational and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to propose creative technologies across a landscape of diverse decision‑makers and align strategies to deliver customer business outcomes.
• Strong track record of high‑level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management.
• Experience in a fast‑paced startup, sales, and/or online advertising environment.
• Executive presence and experience developing content for and leading CMO‑level meetings.
• Passion for driving business results for clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Advertising, Marketing, or Business.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related area.
• Master’s degree in advertising, marketing, business, or a related area.
• Five years’ experience in brand advertising (e.g., television, video, sponsorship), media sales, customer acquisition and growth, search, mobile, or online sales.
• Five years’ experience in shopper marketing sales, eCommerce sales, or retail advertising sales.
• Five years’ experience managing client accounts.
• Five years’ experience as a strategic advisor working with C‑suite clients.
