About the Role Nationwide Expos is seeking a creative, organized, and proactive Events Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator to help bring our home and lifestyle shows to life. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands‑on environment, enjoys collaborating with vendors and partners, and takes pride in executing marketing and event plans flawlessly.
In this position, you will play a central role in building partnerships, creating content, managing pre‑show planning, and supporting events on‑site. You’ll work directly with vendors, sponsors, influencers, third‑party partners, and local organizations to ensure our shows are engaging, well‑promoted, and successful.
Key Responsibilities Build Partnerships & Sponsorships
Identify, reach out to, and build strong relationships with brands, vendors, and sponsors to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
Assist with the development of sponsorship packages and ensure all sponsor deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Coordinate cross‑promotional opportunities, including on‑site activations and pre‑show marketing initiatives.
Content Creation & Marketing Materials
Design and produce marketing assets including flyers, social media graphics, email content, and event signage using Canva or Adobe Suite.
Support the marketing team in creating engaging content for both digital and print channels.
Ensure all creative materials align with brand guidelines and effectively communicate event messaging.
Produce email communications and on‑site event letters to vendors prior to shows.
Build and send email blasts using Constant Contact, ensuring accurate information, branding, and timelines.
Maintain clear, professional communication with vendors, sponsors, and partners via phone, email, and in‑person meetings.
Influencer & Community Outreach
Research, engage, and coordinate with local and national influencers, bloggers, and content creators to promote upcoming shows.
Plan and manage influencer collaborations, giveaways, and promotional campaigns to increase event awareness and attendance.
Track and report on influencer performance and the impact of marketing campaigns.
Local Community & City Outreach
Develop relationships and collaborate with local city officials, Chambers of Commerce, and non‑profit organizations to drive event traffic and community engagement.
Partner with these organizations to promote the event through their networks, newsletters, and events.
Serve as a liaison between the company and community organizations to create mutually beneficial opportunities.
Serve as a primary contact for vendors leading up to each event, ensuring they have the information and support needed to succeed.
Assist with creating detailed floor plans, production schedules, and audits for each show.
Coordinate logistics with vendors and internal teams to confirm setup requirements, deadlines, and any special needs.
On‑Site Coordination & Promotions
Assist with coordinating on‑site signage and collateral, ensuring all displays are correctly placed and visually appealing.
Occasionally book and confirm third‑party entertainment, presentations, or partners to enhance the show experience and promote engagement.
Support general event execution as needed, helping troubleshoot on‑site challenges and ensuring a smooth experience for vendors and attendees.
Giveaways, Incentives & Engagement
Conceptualize, organize, and execute contests, giveaways, and incentive programs for attendees and vendors.
Coordinate prize fulfillment, tracking, and sponsor contributions to ensure a seamless experience.
Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to maximize audience engagement before, during, and after the event.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years experience in event marketing, partnerships, client‑facing roles, or related positions.
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with clients, partners, and vendors regularly.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Experienced in content creation with Canva or Adobe Suite.
Experience creating and sending email communications and blasts using Constant Contact.
Willingness to travel up to 4 times per year for on‑site events.
Ability to work on‑site as needed and maintain a full‑time 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule.
