About The Role At Claire’s, we are passionate about creating a safe, fun, and inspiring environment where self‑expression shines. The Beauty Designer develops creative, trend–forward concepts across color cosmetics, body care, tools, and gifting. This role requires a strong understanding of the youth beauty market—Gen Alpha and Gen Z trends, social media aesthetics, and product storytelling—to design collections that are both inspiring and commercial. Must combine strong graphic and packaging design skills with a sense of play, color, and form to bring each collection to life.
Key Responsibilities Design & Product Development
Research global and youth beauty trends in color, packaging, and visual identity to inform design direction.
Create cohesive beauty collections, from concept sketches and packaging graphics to final artwork.
Design and refine product and packaging graphics, ensuring clarity, on‑brand tone, and trend relevance.
Develop seasonal mood boards and concept presentations for cross‑functional alignment.
Collaborate with Merchandising, Product Development, and Marketing to ensure design intent, cost, and quality goals are met.
Review samples and packaging mockups for accuracy and design integrity.
Support seasonal line reviews and creative presentations.
Trend & Research
Research global and youth beauty trends in color, textures, and formats to guide seasonal design direction.
Track emerging movements in packaging, ingredients, and influencer‑driven aesthetics.
Analyze competitive and social trends to identify new opportunities in product and visual storytelling.
Translate insights into actionable concepts, mood boards, and visual references.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Graphic, or Product Design, or related field.
Experience: 2–4 years of experience in beauty, personal care, or lifestyle product design.
Strong graphic and packaging design capabilities with a refined sense of color, typography, and layout.
Deep awareness of youth beauty culture—social media behavior, influencer trends, and emerging formats.
Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
Miro or 3D design tools a plus but not required.
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment with a proactive mindset.

Salaries & Benefits Compensation Range: $82,446.00 - $109,928.00
Claire’s is committed to adhering to all applicable company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations. All positions will be compensated at or above the legally mandated minimum wage for the location in which work is performed. The final compensation will be determined by various factors such as relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
Benefits for full‑time employees include medical, dental, and vision insurance, voluntary welfare plans, bonus plan eligibility, 401(k) match, vacation time, sick time* and paid leave.
