Library Circulation Student Assistant (Spring 2026)
Job Description
Assist with the circulation and interlibrary loan functions of the High Library.

Job Duties
Checking materials in and out
Scanning articles
Reshelving returned items
Preparing materials for shipping
Providing directions and information about library policies to library users
Basic maintenance of library technologies and spaces
Registering users
Opening and closing the library
Abiding by all health and safety protocols
And other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Customer service skills
Precision and patience on repetitive tasks
Ability to work productively without direct supervision
Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
Interest in learning and understanding a great deal about library processes and procedures
An organized schedule, and willingness to cover open shifts for your coworkers
