The Opportunity We are seeking a highly creative, strategic, and data-savvy Social Media Manager to join our global team. This role is pivotal in shaping our brand voice and presence on our global social channels, fostering a loyal community, and driving engagement through compelling, on-brand content. The ideal candidate is a master of the social media landscape, with a particular passion for TikTok and Instagram, and an understanding of the beauty and wellness consumer.
Key Responsibilities Community Management & Advocacy
Serve as the primary global voice of Grown Alchemist across all social channels, with a focus on building the US audience.
Proactively engage with our community, responding to comments and DMs in a timely, brand-appropriate manner to build strong, authentic relationships.
Support the global marketing team in managing our advocacy and influencer programs via the Duel (or similar) Platform, including identifying, onboarding, and nurturing relationships with brand advocates and micro-influencers.
Monitor social conversations, trends, and sentiment to provide insights back to the global team.
Content Strategy & Execution
Own and manage the end-to-end content calendar for TikTok, Instagram, Pinterest & YouTube ensuring a consistent and elevated brand narrative.
Develop a strategic content mix, including educational skincare science, brand storytelling, user-generated content, and trend-led creative.
Collaborate closely with the in-house design team to brief and produce high-quality, engaging assets (static, video, GIFs) that align with our aesthetic.
Create and edit short-form video content (TikTok/Reels) in-house, showcasing a strong sense of storytelling and an understanding of platform-specific trends.
Reporting & Analysis
Track, measure, and report on key social media metrics (engagement, reach, growth, audience sentiment, advocacy program ROI) on a weekly and monthly basis.
Use data and insights to continually optimize content strategy, posting schedules, and community engagement tactics.
Provide regular reports to the global team, highlighting successes, opportunities, and key learnings.
Global Support
Work collaboratively with the global marketing and eCommerce teams to ensure social strategy is aligned with broader brand campaigns and product launches.
Adapt global campaign messaging for the US market, ensuring cultural relevance and maximum impact.
Who You Are
You are a native of social platforms, particularly TikTok & Instagram, with a proven track record of growing an engaged global audience and a deep understanding of what makes content successful on each platform.
You have experience with community management and are passionate about building one-to-one connections at scale.
You are data-driven and comfortable with social media analytics and reporting tools.
Experience with influencer marketing or advocacy platforms (like Duel, Skeepers, etc.) is a significant plus.
You have excellent visual aesthetics and the ability to art‑direct and provide clear creative briefs, collaborating with the in‑house creative team.
You are a proactive, self‑starter can autonomously while seamlessly collaborating with regional teams in the US, UK, Australia and Hong Kong.
Compensation Transparency In accordance with New York State Pay Transparency requirements, the annual base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. The final offer will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
