Harvard Resource Solutions is hiring a
MARKETING ASSISTANT
to work in Midland, MI for a manufacturing company. You will work as part of the Sales and Marketing team creating, developing, and designing marketing materials. You will also take part in social media management and trade show related activities.
POSITION TYPE : Open-end contract. Minimum 3-month assignment that will go longer with good work performance. 100% onsite M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
PAY:
$22.00 to $25.00 per hour based on education and experience. Benefits available after 90 days.
Requirements of the Marketing Assistant:
Degree is nice to have. Experience is more important.
Minimum 2 years of relevant marketing support experience required.
Good technical writing capability. Solid communication skills.
Tech savvy individual who is able to utilize multiple systems to accomplish work.
Experience using WordPress or other content management system (CMS).
Technical skills with Microsoft Office Products.
Friendly, creative, and motivated individual.
Able to work a camera.
Duties of the Marketing Assistant:
Develop, design, and communicate all marketing materials such as advertising documents, technical brochures, flyers, booklets, internal documentation, and others.
Maintain current knowledge of company products and identify gaps or needed changes in marketing.
Promote the company on social media and other platforms. Function as company photographer and perform camera maintenance.
Administrative Support
— Assist the marketing team with preparing reports, metrics, and coordinating meetings. Maintain and organize marketing and promotional materials.
Campaign Support
— Help plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns (digital, print, social media, events).
Content Creation
— Draft social media posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and marketing materials.
Event Coordination
— Assist with planning, promoting, and managing events, trade shows, or webinars.
Social Media Management
— Monitor accounts, engage with audiences, and track performance metrics.
Website Updates
— Help maintain company website by updating content, images, and promotions.
Reporting & Analytics
— Track and compile results of campaigns, social media performance, and customer engagement.
Collaboration
— Work closely with manager, designers, sales teams, and third parties to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Software -Daily use of Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher. Also, Graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite. Photo editing with Photoshop. Regular use of WordPress and Google Analytics.
