Instructional Designer – USIS University – Equifax As a member of the Equifax USIS University Team, the Instructional Designer will advance and refine ongoing developmental training opportunities across Equifax USIS, with a strong focus on sales roles. The role involves generating effective, engaging training content by working closely with internal team members and partners to diagnose learning needs, identify appropriate training solutions, and design & develop learning experiences that facilitate business unit goals.

What you’ll do

Consult and collaborate with internal learning team members and subject matter experts on course design and development for skills, products, tools, and industry acumen.

Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner to meet specific learning needs.

Develop new learning experiences including instructor-led courses, interactive eLearning, and practical application exercises using modern tools, techniques, and adult learning best practices.

Collaborate with instructional designers to create, refine, and maintain learning experience governance, templates, and standards.

Measure and track learning completions, feedback, and ROI to drive future training prioritizations.

What experience you need

Minimum 2 years of professional learning development experience in a corporate environment.

Minimum 2 years as an Instructional Designer.

Demonstrated knowledge of current training and adult learning theories and practices, instructional design models, and e-learning standards (e.g., SCORM, ADDIE, SAM).

Experience with consultation and the assessment of learning needs, proposing, designing, developing, delivering, and measuring success of learning solutions.

Ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly, and to convert technical or complex information into easily understandable content.

Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Strong eye for modern design aesthetic and ability to follow a style guide and governance to maintain brand and learner experience.

Proficiency with eLearning, video editing, and presentation software – Articulate 360 (Rise & Storyline) required.

Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Consistent with Equifax’s 3/2+2 flexible work framework, willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax’s Atlanta-based office.

What could set you apart

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

Previous experience or knowledge of B2B selling principles and an understanding of challenges faced by the sales team.

Experience with Camtasia.

Experience as an LMS administrator, preferably Workday Learning.
