(Albany, NY) involves designing and developing engaging, research-based learning solutions for diverse sectors, while contributing to global, high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-learning development, curriculum design, learning technology, and adult learning methodologies. You will work with international teams, collaborate closely with subject matter experts, and support the development of scalable, visually compelling, and highly effective training content.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive needs and task analyses to identify training gaps, performance challenges, and measurable learning outcomes.

Design curriculum frameworks, modular learning pathways, and competency-aligned training programs for a variety of learner groups.

Develop interactive eLearning content using modern e-learning tools.

Create multimedia assets including graphics, animations, audio recordings, video scripts, and visual storytelling elements.

Transform technical or specialized subject matter into structured, digestible, learner-focused instructional materials in partnership with subject matter experts.

Develop materials for virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and in-person instructor-led training (ILT), including facilitator guides, participant manuals, and activity-driven learning aids.

Manage and maintain LMS platforms, including course uploads, user management, troubleshooting, analytics tracking, and reporting.

Produce learning effectiveness reports, completion dashboards, feedback analyses, and competency tracking for stakeholders and leadership.

Support onboarding activities, learner engagement strategies, and continuous optimization of existing training programs.

Ensure all learning products meet industry standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI, LTI).

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Learning Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Minimum of 2 years' experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or curriculum development.

Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, learning psychology, and evidence-based instructional methods, such as ADDIE, 4C/ID, Gagné’s Nine Events, Bloom’s Taxonomy, Merrill’s Principles of Instruction and/or similar.

Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools such as Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, Powtoon, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Premiere Pro, Moodle, and/or etc.

Experience working with LMS platforms and understanding SCORM, xAPI, AICC, or LTI compliance.

Strong project management, organizational, writing, and communication skills.

Ability to collaborate closely with SMEs, interpret technical information, and design clear, learner-focused content.

Experience in TVET or technical training program development is a plus.

Vocational teaching or adult training experience preferred.

Collaborative, engaged, and confident working with global teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
