Project Designer
OHARA DAVIES‑GAETANO INTERIORS, a world‑class high‑end design firm, seeks an efficient, detail‑oriented, diligent Project Designer with 4‑7 years of design‑firm experience. The role involves working closely with Project Managers and Junior Designers on luxury residential interior design projects at our Culver City office.

Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of client presentations, including formatting, organizing, and printing.
Develop space planning and layouts based on directives from Project Managers and Principal.
Collaborate with Project Managers on custom product specifications—measurements, hardware, finish, wood type, etc.
Price sourced products accurately and maintain up‑to‑date pricing documentation.
Support budget implementation as directed by Project Managers.
Review all orders to ensure accuracy.
Source new products and materials—furniture, accessories, lighting, window treatments, paint colors—under guidance of Project Managers and Principal.
Follow up with vendors on orders and lead times.
Collaborate with the expediter to ensure timely and accurate vendor deliveries.
Lead the handling of CFAs (Credit Facility Agreements) and RMAs (Return Merchandise Authorizations).
Assist in maintaining comprehensive project schedules.
Coordinate and manage various tasks alongside Project Managers.
Participate in site visits and in‑person client meetings as required.
Be available and responsive across time zones to address installation issues or urgent needs.
Manage and motivate design assistants and interns, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with a flexible, proactive approach.
Support warehouse and merchandising coordination for smooth logistics and installations.
Prepare for client installations.
Willingness to travel domestically.
Requirements
4‑year degree or equivalent experience.
4‑7 years of interior design experience.
Residential design and space planning expertise.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); familiarity with Studio Designer (or similar) and Microsoft Office.
Ability to sketch and perform space planning.
Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
Professional approach to inquiries and concerns.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
High attention to detail in orders and documentation.
Resourcefulness and strong troubleshooting skills.
Independent yet team‑oriented work style.
Proactive and initiative‑driven attitude.
Commitment to delivering luxury client experiences.
Work Schedule This hybrid position requires on‑site work in our LA office 4 days per week, with 1 remote workday each week. Candidates should be comfortable collaborating in person with team members while managing independent tasks remotely.
