Senior Designer & Interior Architect/Architect Job Posted 09/20/25 – Full-time – Location: Culver City, CA – Salary: $50‑100k.

Company: Barta Interiors Inc. – a high‑end luxury interior design firm focused on ground‑up construction projects in Los Angeles and occasionally in NYC, CT, Aspen and Santa Barbara.

Overview We are looking for an experienced residential Senior Interior Designer and/or an Interior Architect or Architect to join our team. The role will involve project design, drafting, client interaction and office management in our Culver City office.

Responsibilities

Fabric and furniture selections and material sourcing.

Site and client meetings and project presentations.

General project management, installation coordination and assisting with on‑site installs and photo shoots.

Architectural drafting in AutoCAD: kitchen and bath cabinetry, millwork, ceiling treatments, tile layouts, etc.

Manage department office functions: POs, vendor payments, communications, supplies and a fabric/finish sample library.

Shop designer showrooms and maintain sample library.

Use Studio Designer, Adobe suite, Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

5‑7+ years of residential interior design experience; 3‑5+ years as an interior architect or architect.

Strong AutoCAD drafting skills for floor plans, elevations, cabinetry and tile design.

Experience with 3D rendering is a plus but not required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients and vendors.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Photoshop, InDesign.

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites.

Self‑motivated, ambitious, able to thrive in a small‑group setting.

Additional Information Position will be in person at our Culver City office and will not start until after the office move between November 1‑15. Please apply directly to Barta Interiors.
