Job Summary SV Design is looking for a full-time professional, self-motivated, and highly organized individual to join our residential interiors team in Winchester. The ideal candidate is a creative, energetic team player that is a good multi-tasker and eager to learn. In this position, you will work under the direction of mid-to senior-level interior designers. You will contribute to the success of the firm by assisting with the design process within interior architecture and furnishings from conception to installation.
Responsibilities
Support multiple projects under the guidance of mid- to senior-level designers
Research and source new interior products and materials, including tile, stone, millwork finishes, decorative lighting, and more
Draft and render plans, elevations, and details for construction documents, such as tile/stone layouts, millwork, reflected ceiling, and electrical plans
Develop and maintain selection schedules for plumbing, stone/tile, lighting, wallpaper, and related finishes
Prepare materials for design and client meetings, including presentation boards, plans, and elevations
Create and update furniture plans and layouts
Draft custom furniture drawings to illustrate design intent, including perspectives, plans, and elevations
Communicate with vendors and showrooms to request samples, pricing, and product information
Prepare proposals and purchase orders using Studio Designer
Track orders and deliveries through Studio Designer reports; coordinate with vendors and receivers to ensure accurate and timely fulfillment
Attend client and site meetings as needed
Maintain and organize the design studio’s sample library
Qualifications
1–5 years of experience in residential interior design
Degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design required
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office required
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and SketchUp preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and written skills
Highly detail-oriented, collaborative, and self-motivated
Demonstrates a professional work ethic and accountability
Comfortable taking direction and working within a team structure
Ability to read construction drawings and manage priorities across multiple projects
This is an in-office position based in our Winchester location; candidates must live within a reasonable commuting distance
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
