The purpose of the Expeditor is to track and coordinate the timely movement of materials within the supply chain to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on schedule. Responsibilities

Nature and Scope: This role involves tracking shipments, communicating with suppliers and internal departments, and resolving issues that may cause delays. The Expeditor plays a crucial role in ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and that materials are available when needed for customer orders. Job Responsibilities: Order Tracking: Manage and run daily/weekly action reports to track the status of orders and shipments, ensuring materials arrive on time. Supplier Coordination: Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and expedite deliveries as needed. Data Entry: Maintain accurate records for orders, shipments, ensuring documentation is up to date and easily accessible. Communication: Act as a liaison between suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth material flow and timely delivery. Coordinate with several teams (inside sales, inventory management, supplier relations) on delays, potential delays, and areas of improvement. Other duties as assigned. Working Location and Conditions

Normal office and warehouse environment, one location Standard working hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch Subject to be on call as required and work additional hours during peak periods Qualifications

Bachelors or Associates Degree in Supply Chain or Business related field 1+ years of experience within a professional business environment Must have strong time management skills Must display effective written and oral communication skills Must be proficient in MS Office Suite Essential Job Functions

Physical Activity and Mobility

Remain in a stationary position for extended periods (example: working at a desk or computer). Occasionally move about the office or warehouse to access files, meet with team members, or check materials. May need to lift or move documents, small packages, or office equipment up to 20 lbs

Communication and Coordination

Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Coordinate activities across departments (example: sales, operations, accounting) to ensure timely order fulfillment

Vision and Information Processing

Regularly review and analyze reports, spreadsheets, and tracking systems to monitor order status and identify issues. Maintain attention to detail when entering data, reviewing supplier confirmations, or updating documentation. Use computer systems (example: Cloudsuite Distribution, MS Office Suite) for prolonged periods of time to manage and process information.

Leadership and Decision-Making

Make timely decisions regarding expediting actions based on current supply chain conditions and priorities. Escalate potential issues to management with clear recommendations. Provide input on process improvements and best practices for vendor coordination and internal workflows.

Travel and Environment Adaptability

Primarily office-based, with potential occasional visits to warehouse or supplier locations. Must be able to adapt to a fast-paced, changing work environment, including supply chain disruptions or urgent requests. Flexible to work beyond regular work hours when urgent material delivery issues arise.

Safety and Regulatory Compliance

Adhere to company safety protocols while working in office and warehouse environments. Ensure all documentation and communication comply with company policies and procedures. Handle confidential supplier or customer information responsibly and in accordance with data protection guidelines.
