Description Position Summary: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Mark Andy Flexo Presses and other manufacturing equipment. Responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment through regular maintenance and collaboration with various teams. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and implementing improvements, as well as staying informed about industry advancements. The standard work hours for this position are from

7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

. However, please note that these hours are subject to change based on business needs. Employees may be required to work different hours or be on call as necessary. Essential Functions: Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on Mark Andy Flexo Presses and related equipment. o Observe machinery in operation and locate causes of trouble. o Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts. o Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. o Install special functional and structural parts on machinery and mechanical equipment. o Operate equipment and machinery to test their performance. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to enhance equipment performance. Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and share insights to improve processes. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement solutions proactively. Train machine operators in the proper daily, weekly or monthly maintenance of their equipment as needed Maintain accurate maintenance records Submit purchase order requests for parts, materials, and equipment as needed. Assist Maintenance Mechanic with projects as needed Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with manufacturing equipment and maintenance required Experience with Mark Andy Flexo Presses or similar printing equipment highly preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge Knowledge of Mark Andy Flexo Presses or similar printing equipment Knowledge of mechanical and electrical blueprints Skills Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Computer skills highly preferred Organizational skills Forklift experience highly preferred Abilities Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos Ability to write simple correspondence Ability to effectively present information to one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standard situations Team-oriented and able to work well with others Good communication skills/interpersonal skills Key Performance Indicators On time equipment installs, maintenance and repairs On time contractor repairs and construction projects Record keeping for equipment breakdown/inventory records are accurate and complete Training completed or provided on time Physical Requirements/Working Conditions The physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Occasionally the employee will use arms and hands to balance and climb. The employee is required to regularly operate tools, maintenance equipment and machinery. Employee will occasionally need to perform work on ladders/scaffolding. Employee will occasionally be exposed to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, mechanical and electrical hazards. Limited outdoor work is required but may occasionally be exposed to all types of weather and temperature extremes. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally the employee will lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Lift assists are available for use on all heavy lifts that may be required. This job requires close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Employee is required to regularly talk and hear. Total compensation: The base pay range below reflects the potential hourly compensation for this position. Compensation will vary based on factors including experience.
