Summary Of Role The

Field Marketing Manager

role will be essential in guiding regional program development, ensuring sales team members are kept apprised of evolving marketing strategies and plans, and proactively driving alignment between the field and marketing. This role interacts with all levels of the organization as well as outside vendors. As part of the field marketing team, you will work closely with the Senior Director of Field Marketing, Vice Presidents of each sales region and Channel Managers. The FMM will support sales and marketing initiatives that are engaging, measurable and foster relationships with Trusted Advisors to build loyalty and influence sales growth.

Responsibilities

Support the AVANT National Strategic Partners (NSP) Sales team in coordinating and executing marketing initiatives to recruit, enable and grow AVANT’s Trusted Advisors ecosystem.

Ensure AVANT NSP Sales team is apprised of updated tools, materials, and marketing trends and strategies, while also representing AVANT Sales team point of view in marketing planning.

Work with cross‑functional teams to make improvements and share/receive best practices with/from other regions and teams.

Plan regional and local events and oversee onsite event management from inception to completion.

Provide registration lists pre and post events to sales with action items.

Facilitate event vendor logistics including RFP, site visit, contract negotiation, signature, purchase requests and purchase orders, payment, onsite management for related vendors.

Manage budget requirements through strategic recommendations and operational efficiencies and deliver projects within agreed timeline and budgets.

Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing to ensure all tactical elements are in place and report on the success of programs.

Deliver quality assurance that AVANT branding and messaging in marketing materials is clear, consistent, and optimized across regions.

Assist with additional marketing requests and one‑off tasks to drive growth of key initiatives.

Coordinate with Vendor Management for MDF sponsorship.

Track and report on event metrics and impact.

Requirements

At least 3-5 years of professional experience in the areas of sales and/or marketing.

1-2 years experience with event management.

Motivated, self‑starter with the ability to learn quickly and collaborate across several teams building credibility and trusting relationships.

Demonstrated success in project management across functional teams.

Ability to effectively multitask and manage several initiatives at once.

Knowledge of sales and marketing technology such as Salesforce, Cvent, Wordpress, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.

Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Strong planning and organizational skills.

Commitment to quality, and attention to detail.

Proven success in managing budgets.

Position requires monthly travel.
