Pay Transparency The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $110,000/yr to $125,000/yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview We’re looking for a Senior Podcast Producer to bring bold creative vision and flawless execution to show run a premium entertainment podcast in our network. This candidate will be responsible for managing all day-to-day production operations (inclusive of show content and brand spots), recording, editing, and content delivery for this podcast. This position will be based in Los Angeles, CA.

Responsibilities

Manage all day-to-day production operations for 2x/week podcast, inclusive of main show content, bonus episodes (approx 1x per month), custom segments, promos, and brand spots

Manage Podcast Calendar, Host/Guest Availability, guest bookings (when applicable), Podcast Publishing and Editing Schedule

Create Show Outlines for Hosts which include pulling fan questions and audio clips for episodes

Cut and mix episodes, promos, and brand spots

Create transcripts of edited episodes and send along with pre-mixed audio to talent so that talent can listen and make editing notes

Live edit session with talent 1x per week

Supervise the full post-production pipeline including liaising with sound engineers for mixing/mastering and QC of episodes before final publishing

Write episode description, pull embed code and receive final transcript from transcriber to share with Megaphone and website manager

Coordinate any asks from the social media team which will usually include: a weekly email with links and images that were discussed in that week’s episode and sending locked episode audio to the social media team

Coordinate with Audacy Sales & Ad teams:

Create Ad Approval Emails for hosts

Pull Ad Copy, Flag Any Errors, Print for Hosts

Oversee Recording and Editing of Ads in coordination with deadlinesQC Ads and upload to Frequency

Lead partnership and all communication between the Podcast team and Audacy Network team:

This includes identifying brand mentions and sharing show clips with sales team to potentially bring in new advertisers

Track Episode Download Data to spot trends and pitch new episode ideas

Qualifications Required

Comfort and experience working with A-list talent

Proficiency with audio editing and recording, and production software, specifically Pro Tools

Proven track record in producing high-quality podcasts

Must be a strong and creative communicator - this position will collaborate cross-functionally with many teams at Audacy to ensure audience and revenue success

Confident using Google Docs, Sheets, & Slides, for production purposes

Excellent organizational skills

Preferred

Prior experience using Riverside.fm (if not proficient in Riverside, willing to learn)

Knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, etc.)

Content growth and audience engagement
