Position
Structural Design Technician – Structual Design Technician at Jacobs. Location is flexible; near a Jacobs U.S. office preferred.
Base Pay Range USD 61,100.00/yr – 84,000.00/yr (pay based on skills, experience and location).
Responsibilities • Design and develop structural concepts, creating models from scratch using Revit and other 2D/3D tools.
• Coordinate design work with clients and construction trade partners, considering existing conditions and other disciplines.
• Convert structural requirements into traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
• Lead a small project team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training and team morale.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
At least 1 year of Revit experience.
At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience.
Preferred Experience
At least 2 years of Revit experience.
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures.
Experience leading a team of designers.
Experience with healthcare, institutional, or commercial buildings.
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
