About the Role

SHIFT44 is seeking an energetic, creative, and driven Advertising Account Manager to join our fast‑paced and rapidly growing team. In this role, you’ll serve as the primary point of contact for SHIFT44’s clients, driving month‑over‑month revenue growth across multiple products and verticals.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone self‑motivated, outgoing, and results‑oriented — even if you don’t have direct experience in affiliate or paid marketing. We value ambition, curiosity, and the willingness to learn just as much as prior industry experience.

You’ll collaborate closely with our Senior Director of Advertisers, Sales and Operations teams, and C‑level leadership to deliver measurable success for both SHIFT44 and our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with advertising partners by understanding their business goals, KPIs, and success metrics.
  • Serve as a trusted partner by aligning client campaign needs with available traffic and inventory opportunities.
  • Communicate effectively about SHIFT44’s products, services, and those of our sister companies to drive engagement and growth.
  • Respond promptly to advertiser requests and provide proactive support.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and identify opportunities for optimization to maximize ROI and revenue.
  • Execute campaign optimizations and strategic adjustments to improve performance and meet client objectives.
  • Ensure compliance and quality control for all client campaigns through consistent communication and monitoring.
  • Create and deliver campaign assets, performance reports, and creative packages as needed.
  • Uphold brand and compliance guidelines across all client initiatives.
  • Represent SHIFT44 and our sister companies at industry events and conferences.
  • Drive client success by developing strategies that enhance productivity, uncover new growth opportunities, and expand budgets.

What Success Looks Like

  • Maintain daily communication with clients to drive revenue growth and ensure clear, effective digital strategies are in place.
  • Develop and refine scalable advertiser service processes that consistently meet and exceed performance and efficiency goals.
  • Maximize profitability for both SHIFT44 and clients through a deep understanding of each client’s business objectives — and how SHIFT44’s products and solutions can help achieve them.
  • Build and strengthen strategic partnerships to enable and execute projects that extend beyond the scope of standard campaigns.
  • Shorten onboarding timelines and streamline the go‑live process by collaborating closely with internal teams in performance, product, and sales.
  • Continuously optimize workflows and campaign processes to ensure repeatability, efficiency, and strong ROI.
  • Analyze performance data regularly, proactively refining strategies to enhance results and client satisfaction.
  • Deliver clear and consistent reporting to clients, internal teams, and leadership on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office — Excel expertise (formulas, formatting, and custom reporting) is a big plus.
  • A proactive self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
  • Skilled in recruitment, relationship‑building, and negotiation.
  • Confident in managing and growing client partnerships with a focus on delivering results.
  • Energized by a fast‑paced, creative, and quick‑thinking workplace.
  • Familiarity with media metrics, campaign tracking, and optimization strategies.
  • Bonus points for experience serving as the primary client contact in digital marketing, e‑commerce, affiliate, or paid media roles.
