Role Responsibilities

  • Oversee all operations of a housing community, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration, and risk management.
  • Supervise on‑site staff and ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
  • Manage financial performance to achieve the highest possible net operating income through cost control and revenue leasing improvement.
  • Develop yearly operating budgets, monitor rent collections, vendor invoices, and property closeouts.
  • Lead marketing and leasing strategies, maintain resident retention programs, and handle resident complaints to ensure satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service, monitor maintenance service request turnaround, and maintain property appearance.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Four years of industry experience or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination.
  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
  • Basic computer skills required; knowledge of Fair Housing laws and OSHA requirements.

Physical Requirements

  • Work overtime, weekends, and night hours; perform tasks that may include lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Move around to accomplish tasks, ascend/descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and operate motor vehicles.

License/Equipment

  • Reliable transportation required due to emergency on‑call requirement.

Compensation

Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000 per year. Full‑time employee benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, accidental, disability insurance, 401(k) with employer matching, paid sick days, and company holidays.
