HOURS: Full-time (38 hours per week), Exempt - Schedule includes evening and weekend hours and may be in charge of the library building during those times.

DUTIES: Do you love connecting people with information and technology? Join us as an Adult Services Librarian! You’ll provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers of all ages at our public service desks, answer reference and information questions, and help customers navigate library computers, personal devices, and other technologies. You’ll also assist with programs and serve as Librarian-in-Charge when needed. We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic about the evolving role of public libraries, customer-focused, and forward-thinking.

Requirements

Master of Library Science degree (MLS) from ALA-accredited institution required
Customer service experience in a public library experience preferred
Knowledge of Spanish and/or French is helpful
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

$64,878 - $82,838 annually
