Overview
Seeking a talented candidate to spearhead design and coordination for all custom furniture for Neal Beckstedt Studio’s acclaimed boutique architectural, interiors, and furniture gallery. The Designer will work directly with the principal to manage and oversee all aspects of custom furniture for the studio and gallery from concept through installation.
Full‑time position with a salary range of $50,000 – $100,000. Location: New Canaan, CT.
Responsibilities
Lead multiple projects at all stages, from concept through installation.
Oversee tasks and coordinate with millworkers, upholsterers, and vendors.
Manage drawing, pricing, and tracking of custom furniture for multiple projects.
Create and update furniture design presentations and renderings.
Qualifications
4+ years of experience in high‑end residential furniture design.
Previous work in CT and the ability to work from New Canaan preferred.
Exceptional project management skills with strong attention to detail and multi‑tasking.
Concise yet thorough communication skills dealing with the principal and vendors.
Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
Exceptional skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
U.S. citizenship or a valid work visa for full‑time employment in the U.S.
