Job Overview Aloft Anchorage is seeking a dynamic Front Office Supervisor who enjoys creating standout guest experiences and leading with energy, professionalism, and upbeat service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, supports and develops a team, and takes pride in smooth front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure every guest interaction feels effortless, warm, and memorable.
Greet guests with a friendly, genuine presence and support the team in delivering top‑notch service.
Welcome guests professionally and resolve concerns quickly while remaining calm and confident.
Share accurate information about the hotel, local attractions, and on‑site amenities.
Train, coach, and guide front desk associates on check‑in/check‑out procedures and service expectations.
Supervise daily shift operations, assist with scheduling, ordering supplies, and support front office administrative tasks.
Maintain strong communication with all departments and team leaders.
Complete guest check‑ins/check‑outs using the property management system, process payments and credits accurately, and ensure folios and reports are correct.
Respond promptly to calls, emails, and guest requests; serve as Manager on Duty during nights and weekends.
Qualifications & Experience
At least one year of hotel front desk experience.
Leadership experience preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm during busy or stressful moments.
Excellent multitasking, time‑management, and customer‑service mindset.
Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting items as needed.
Familiarity with computers and willingness to learn hotel systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
