We’re looking for a driven and curious
Structural Design Technician
to provide leadership and support our Built Environment team. As a key member of our Advanced Manufacturing team, you’ll grow your skills, collaborate with clients and construction trade partners, develop design concepts, create models from scratch, and coordinate designs to consider existing conditions and other disciplines. You’ll convey structural requirements to the construction team through traditional 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
You’ll also have the chance to provide leadership for a small project with a team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training, developing your team, and building and maintaining team morale. Join us and we will assist in continuing the development of your skills and exploring all that you can do across our global company, with opportunities to share your knowledge along the way.
Here’s what you’ll need
High School Diploma or equivalent
At least 5 years drafting/design experience in the structural field
At least 1 year of Revit experience
At least 3 years AutoCAD design experience
Ideally you’ll also have
At least 2 years of Revit experience
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures
Experience leading a team of designers
Experience with healthcare / institutional / commercial buildings
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam
