Job Description: Develop, write, and edit technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, FAQs, SOPs, and API documentation. Design and create engaging instructional materials such as e-learning modules, training manuals, video tutorials, and interactive content. Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), engineers, and product managers to translate complex information into easy-to-understand materials. Utilize instructional design principles and methodologies to develop effective training programs. Conduct needs assessments and audience analysis to determine the best instructional strategies. Develop assessments, quizzes, and interactive learning activities to enhance knowledge retention. Ensure documentation and training materials adhere to industry standards, accessibility guidelines, and branding requirements. Maintain and update existing documentation and training materials based on product updates, user feedback, and evolving requirements. Manage content repositories and version control to ensure consistency and accessibility. Use authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or other e-learning software. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to integrate visual elements that improve comprehension and engagement. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Instructional Design, English, Education, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in technical writing and instructional design. Strong understanding of instructional design models such as ADDIE, Bloom's Taxonomy, or SAM. Proficiency in tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, MadCap Flare, or similar. Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and SCORM compliance. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, engaging, and accessible content. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and Markdown is a plus. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a bonus. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in software, IT, or engineering industries. Knowledge of API documentation tools such as Swagger, Postman, or OpenAPI. Experience creating microlearning content or gamified learning experiences. Certification in Technical Writing, Instructional Design, or e-Learning development is a plus.
