At WCTractor, we don't just fix equipment, we keep Texas moving. With dealerships across the state, we've built our name on honesty, integrity, and service that feels like family. Joining our Bryan team means stepping into a company that invests in its people and values doing things the right way.
What You'll Do This is a great opportunity for someone with strong customer service and administrative skills who's ready to learn the equipment/service world. You'll be the friendly first point of contact for customers and the bridge between our front counter and our shop.
In this role, you will:
• Greet customers, answer calls, and help gather info about their service needs • Enter work orders, update records, and keep paperwork organized and accurate • Communicate with technicians to keep jobs moving and customers informed • Prepare basic estimates with guidance from the service team • Check warranty status and ensure required documents are completed • Follow up with customers on status updates, scheduled maintenance, and next steps
Service Writer Qualifications
What We're Looking For We're not looking for a seasoned service writer. We're looking for someone with solid people skills, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
The ideal candidate has:
• A high school diploma or equivalent • Strong customer service skills and a helpful, patient communication style • Good computer and typing skills (you'll use service software daily) • Comfort juggling multiple tasks and staying organized • Administrative experience or office experience preferred • Mechanically-minded or dealership experience is a plus but not required • A positive attitude and the ability to learn processes quickly
If you've worked in retail, hospitality, office support, or admin roles and you're ready to grow, this is a great fit.
Why WCTractor? Because here, you're not just an employee; you're part of something bigger. We offer:
• A supportive, faith-based work environment built on honesty and respect • Competitive pay and benefits • On-the-job training with opportunities to grow into more advanced roles • A team that genuinely cares about our customers and about each other
