We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our Marketing Analytics team. This role leverages customer, sales, and campaign data to generate actionable insights that optimize marketing spend, personalize customer experiences, and drive profitability. The ideal candidate will understand data science and AI techniques applicable in a marketing environment and communicate how their work aligns with business goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and maintain a core set of Marketing models, including customer lifetime value, churn prediction and retention modeling, next best offer recommendations, and customer segmentation.

Apply advanced analytics, causal inference, experimentation, machine learning and AI techniques for business problems related to customer behavior and marketing personalization.

Support the design, analysis, and interpretation of marketing campaign tests, including A/B tests, controlled experiments, and geo‑tests.

Proactively perform data exploration on customer behaviors to discover future opportunities.

Collaborate with Data Engineering and IT teams to ensure data quality, accessibility, and deployment of models into production environments.

Cultivate strong partnerships with cross‑functional stakeholders from marketing, merchandising, and IT.

Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for non‑technical stakeholders, including marketing leaders and executive teams.

Requirements Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical or quantitative field.

4‑6 years industry experience developing marketing or related machine‑learning models.

4‑6 years experience in marketing analytics or another related analytics role.

Skills

Experience with a wide variety of machine‑learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).

Familiarity with causal inference methods, time series analysis, and forecasting techniques.

Ability to assess model robustness by selecting, interpreting, and comparing appropriate performance metrics (e.g., accuracy, precision, recall, F1, AUC).

Strong foundational knowledge of core marketing concepts (e.g., CPA, ROAS, LTV, attribution, segmentation).

Demonstrated ability to apply data science to solve real‑world marketing or business challenges.

Strong technical skills including SQL and either Python or R.

Familiarity with common AI tools and frameworks such as HuggingFace, transformers, PyTorch, RAG, etc.

Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Physical Requirements

Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.

Speak and listen to others in person and over the phone and video conferencing.

Use keyboard and read from computer screen and reports.

The ability to lift up to 15 lbs.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $126,700 – $190,100 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) plan, paid time off up to 236 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays), and paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
