Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

Experience : 5+ years of progressive experience in Data Science, with a significant focus on marketing analytics or related business domains.

Technical Proficiency :

3+ years expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and strong SQL skills.

Extensive experience with relevant data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch, Pandas).

Strong understanding and practical experience with advanced statistical modeling, machine learning techniques (e.g., regression, classification, forecasting, causal inference).

Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure), including building data processing pipelines (e.g., Spark, Dataflow) and utilizing managed machine learning services.

Problem-Solving : Proven ability to independently translate ambiguous business problems into solvable data science problems and deliver impactful, production-ready solutions.

Communication : Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex analytical results and their business implications clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Collaboration : Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and contributing to a highly collaborative environment.

Even Better If You Have

An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field.

Direct experience with A/B testing design, implementation, and analysis, as well as other experimental design methodologies.

Expertise in specific marketing analytics areas such as customer segmentation, lifetime value (LTV) modeling, campaign optimization, media mix modeling, or attribution modeling.

Hands‑on experience with MLOps practices, including model deployment, versioning, and automated monitoring in production environments.

Contributions to open‑source projects, academic publications, or industry conferences in relevant data science or marketing analytics fields.

Responsibilities

Drive Impactful Solutions : Lead end-to-end data science initiatives, from problem definition to deployment and monitoring, to drive key business outcomes in marketing analytics for Ford Pro. This includes designing and delivering production‑grade data science solutions for complex marketing problems, even when standard methods fall short.

Apply Expertise : Leverage expert knowledge in at least one data science domain (e.g., forecasting, prediction, causal inference, experimentation) to solve intricate marketing challenges.

Strategic Partnership : Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders to define data‑driven strategies, align on roadmaps, and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical tasks.

Build Robust Pipelines : Develop and maintain robust, scalable data science pipelines, ensuring high quality, reproducibility, and continuous monitoring of model performance, including detection of feature drift and prediction distributions.

Influence & Innovate : Influence team data science strategy, standards, and best practices. Champion knowledge sharing, reusable data science assets, and evaluate emerging technologies and research for potential business applications within the marketing domain.

Communicate Insights : Translate complex data insights into strategic implications, fostering data‑driven decision‑making at higher levels across multiple teams and product areas within Ford Pro.
