We’re looking for a senior-level freelance PR professional to support us on an ongoing, flexible basis with PR and editorial content focused on the DACH market. The role is results-driven: we’re specifically looking for someone with strong journalist connections in lifestyle, fashion, and women’s media across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Your Focus Will Be:

Securing unpaid media coverage (print, digital, TV, radio) via your personal network

Developing compelling PR angles and pitches around:

Period underwear innovation

Female entrepreneurship

Sustainability in fashion

Founder story / taboo-breaking content

(Optional) Writing blog or editorial content for our website

Tasks Important:

This is not just a press release distribution job. We need someone with real relationships editors, lifestyle journalists, and media platforms including:

Brigitte, Glamour, Vogue DE, Cosmopolitan DE, InStyle, ZEIT, TAZ, NZZ, WELT

Or major online outlets: Refinery29, Journelles, This is Jane Wayne, etc.

Requirements:

5+ years of PR experience in the DACH market (fashion/lifestyle/beauty sector preferred)

Proven track record of Tier 1 media placements — please include a portfolio or examples

Fluent German speaker and writer (native or near-native level)

Confident with brand voice and reputation management

Basic copywriting skills for blog posts or founder content

Requirements Nice to Have:

Experience with DTC or taboo-breaking brands (period care, femtech, wellness)

Background in low-budget, high-ROI PR strategies

Influencer/celebrity PR experience (optional)

Soft Skills:

Proactive and self-sufficient

Strong journalist relationships

Clear and concise communicator

Culturally aware of when to push bold messaging versus subtle positioning

Benefits Compensation:

Budget: Up to €1,000/month

Engagement: Hourly (€50–€60/hour) or monthly retainer (~8–10 hours/month)

Payment: Monthly invoice, flexible hours — focus is on results
