Position Information Position Title: Visual Art & Design Office Assistant

Position Category: Hourly/Work Study
Campus Location: Weber State University – Ogden, UT
Hours per week: 15–20
Months per year: 12
Alternate work schedule: Available
Pay Grade: Hourly Pay
Hourly Pay Rate: $15.00
Responsibilities Provide front desk coverage as needed for the department. Administrative duties include maintaining bulletin boards and signage, assisting with budget reports, organizing office supplies, maintaining various spreadsheets, and maintaining accurate and organized records. Run errands, answer phones, greet incoming visitors, students, faculty and staff, and assist department instructors and staff as needed. Must be competent with computers.
This position is for individuals eligible for Federal Work Study.
Job Requirements Required Qualifications
Experience working in an office setting.
Good computer skills.
Ability to multi-task.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an office setting.
Good computer skills (MS Office/Excel).
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Ability to prioritize and good organization skills.
Work–study Student preferred, but not required.
Background Check: No
Scheduling and Availability Must be available during the morning or afternoon hours; Monday–Thursday (MTWTHF) 8:30 am to 12:30 pm or 12:30 pm–5:30 pm.
