About the Opportunity The Production Control Expeditor monitors and expedites the flow of job orders within or between departments to ensure prompt progress of goods to conform with production schedules and on-time delivery to customers.
What You’ll Do
Oversees production order flow across all departments, identifying delays, constraints, and priority conflicts that could affect delivery timelines.
Analyzes production data and job status reports to anticipate potential issues, taking proactive steps to prevent schedule disruptions.
Coordinates with Production Control, Department Leads, and Supervisors to communicate order status, expedite critical jobs, and ensure high-priority orders remain on track.
Participates in daily and weekly production meetings by providing insight into schedule risks, material shortages, and resource needs.
Serves as a key liaison among Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Sales to resolve process barriers and align work priorities.
Investigates and troubleshoots issues on the production floor—driving corrective actions and communicating updates to stakeholders.
Partners with leadership to improve process flow, on-time delivery performance, and schedule adherence metrics.
Supports continuous improvement initiatives by recommending and implementing workflow optimizations.
Supports production as required by assisting some processes; for example, Material Issue, Hole Checker, Final Clean, Packaging & Shipping counter to counter deliveries, Releasing Materials, Tooling Inner Layers, Dry Film or Solder mask, etc.
Collaborates with Company personnel to improve on-time delivery.
Performs other assigned duties and responsibilities as needed.
What You’ll Bring
Strong working knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes and production workflows.
Ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and act decisively under pressure.
Proven track record of expediting, scheduling, or production coordination in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (ProCim experience preferred).
Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams and driving schedule adherence improvements.
Education and Experience
A minimum of 2 years of PCB manufacturing experience or Production Planning experience.
Strong administrative, data-entry, and computer skills.
Associate’s degree or higher in related field or comparable industry experience (Preferred).
Schedule
1st Shift (7:30am to 4:00pm)
Monday through Friday
Overtime and Weekends as needed.
Job Type Full-time, in person.
Pay Range California Pay Range: $18 USD - $22 USD.
