Job Overview
In conjunction with the General Manager, the Community Manager will manage the business of the Association to deliver exceptional service and solutions that enhance the value of the property and the lifestyle of the residents.
Compensation $25+ per hour, based on experience. FirstService Residential will compensate the successful candidate in accordance with the posted range. The salary or wage will be commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities, and for positions designated at a client's property will also be premised upon the client's directive. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
Your Responsibilities
Assist the General Manager in managing the business affairs of the community and ensuring compliance with governing documents and policies
Collaborate with the General Manager to address resident inquiries, concerns and work orders ensuring a high level of resident satisfaction
Collaborate with the General Manager to establish and execute strategic initiatives for the community
Communicate regularly with residents through newsletters, emails, and meetings
Coordinate community maintenance activities, ensuring proper upkeep of the property, common areas and amenities
Track non‑compliance/violation issues, complete inspections on a routine basis, send appropriate notices according to established policies
Verify all exterior modification projects are completed as submitted and/or removed per the Architectural Committee directives
Inspect all common areas, including all three parks on a weekly basis to ensure lot and miscellaneous common area amenities are being maintained and no work orders need to be issued
Ensure compliance with federal, state and local laws, as well as community association governing documents and policies
Foster positive relationships with residents, vendors and staff, promoting a sense of community and teamwork

Exceptional interpersonal skills resulting in strong working relationships
Strong organizational skills
Outstanding communication skills
Tremendous listener with the ability to diffuse tense situations
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively
Superb judgment and decision‑making skills
Ability to prioritize and adjust to incoming demands
Proficient with MS Office suite
Education and Experience
4+ years of customer service experience (required)
HOA and/ or property management experience (required)
Physical Requirements
Sit or stand for extended periods of time in an office environment
Able to safely lift, carry, and move up to 30 pounds
Work Location Phoenix, AZ
Work Hours Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Travel Requirements Regular use of personal vehicle for compliance inspections from occasional corporate meetings/trainings and errands for the Association. Eligible for mileage reimbursement at the current IRS approved rates.
