The Law Offices of Eric L. Pines, PLLC is a boutique federal employment law firm representing federal employees nationwide in Social Security Disability Appeals and Applications, EEO, OPM Disability Retirement, MSPB appeals, Veterans Affairs Civilian matters, disciplinary actions, and grievance/arbitration cases.

We are growing — and we’re looking for an Executive Assistant who can help our Managing Attorney operate at his highest level, ensure a world‑class client experience, and support light marketing efforts that keep the firm visible and thriving.
Full‑time In Person (Houston‑based)
This role supports both the
CEO/Managing Attorney and the
overall client experience of the firm.
You will be the Managing Attorney’s right hand — protecting his time, simplifying his workload, organizing operations, and ensuring smooth communication internally and externally.
This role combines
executive support ,
client service , and
light marketing administration , making it ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, supporting a mission‑driven team, and operating at a high professional standard.
Responsibilities
Own and manage the Managing Attorney’s calendar with precision
Coordinate meetings, prep materials, and ensure all follow‑up tasks are completed
Manage inboxes (triage, draft responses, organize communication)
Prepare expense reports and assist with basic financial administrative tasks
Maintain confidential files, records, and sensitive information
Anticipate needs and solve problems before they land on the attorney’s desk
Run weekly EA–Attorney alignment meetings (“What needs to happen? Who’s doing what? By when?”)
Serve as a warm, professional point of contact for clients and prospective clients
Manage scheduling, reminders, onboarding communications, follow‑up, and check‑ins
Assist with client intake, CRM updates, and maintaining client touchpoints
Ensure all clients receive timely responses and feel fully supported
Coordinate monthly client status updates with the legal team
Assist with posting content to LinkedIn and other social platforms
Help prepare and format newsletters, email drip campaigns, and blog posts
Keep the marketing calendar organized and running smoothly
Manage simple CRM functions (tagging, list cleanup, sending sequences)
Assist with review generation and reputation management
2–5 years of executive assistant, administrative support, or operations support experience
Experience supporting attorneys or professional services a strong plus
Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with a client‑focused tone
Exceptional organization, follow‑through, and attention to detail
Proven ability to manage calendars and prepare accurate expense reports
Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new systems (CRM, practice management tools, Google Workspace, etc.)
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with complete discretion
Warm, polished, professional demeanor — especially under pressure
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to anticipate needs
Comfortable juggling multiple tasks without dropping the ball
