Creative Operations Manager, Assistant Director
Location: Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Philadelphia, Charlotte, Atlanta, Cleveland
As an integral member of EY’s US Creative Services team, you will lead a virtual multidisciplinary team of 20‑30 creatives to deliver innovative, data‑driven go‑to‑market materials that drive the firm’s growth and revenue.
Your Key Responsibilities You will be accountable for people‑management processes—staffing, training, coaching, and performance tracking—to build a high‑performing team. You’ll manage creative personnel, set goals, identify training opportunities, provide direction, develop talent, and drive financial and operational KPIs. You will collaborate with account managers to develop operational account strategies aligned with client objectives and support business units across the organization.

To qualify for the role
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media or a related discipline, or equivalent training and work experience
Eight‑plus years of creative management experience in a fast‑paced, matrixed agency or in‑house team environment
Five‑plus years of supervisory experience leading and counseling a team of creatives
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing and persuasion abilities
Demonstrated business acumen and strategic thinking skills
Experience and proficiency in Mac and PC environments, Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Creative Cloud and Workfront or a similar project‑tracking tool
Comprehensive knowledge in creative industry practices, digital trends, innovation and technology
Experience working in a virtual environment with flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement—remotely and at local EY office as required by business needs
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience managing and leading people in a virtual environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a time‑sensitive environment
Proven ability to problem‑solve and navigate a highly matrixed organization

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package; base salary ranges from $93,300 to $174,500 across US locations, with higher ranges in the New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento). Individual salaries are determined by education, experience, skills and geography. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time‑off options.
Join us in our team‑led and leader‑enabled hybrid model; most people in external client‑serving roles are expected to work together in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
