Thompson Coburn, a large full‑service law firm with offices in eight (8) cities across the U.S., is looking for a full‑time non‑exempt Marketing Coordinator to join its office in Chicago, Dallas, New York, St. Louis, or Washington D.C. Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing & Communications, the Marketing Coordinator is responsible for updating the CRM system with new leads and contacts as well as maintaining the accuracy of existing data. They are also responsible for producing and promoting webinars; assisting with email marketing, including creating and sending communications; scheduling new hire photographs; and producing other marketing materials. This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid‑remote work schedule after an initial period of training.
Key Responsibilities
Use webinar platforms and branded templates to create webinar events, invitations, reminders, and distribute webinar correspondence.
Serve as a producer for live webinar events.
Assist with updating PowerPoint materials for attorneys and other firm professionals, ensuring brand consistency and quality.
Coordinate sending of emails for new hires with photo instructions.
Conduct ongoing maintenance of CRM firm data, including adding relevant contacts, improving data quality, monitoring email metrics, and compiling data to create reports.
Use approved templates and best practices to create and send email marketing deliverables, including marketing campaigns, news alerts, invitations, surveys, internal campaigns, and more.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Must possess a high level of professionalism and interpersonal skills to work well with employees at all levels and maintain all information in strict confidence.
Ability to effectively use the firm’s marketing technology platforms, programs, and systems.
Working knowledge of Excel and Word; PowerPoint and Canva are preferred.
Understanding of website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, and CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce.
Must possess attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects, and strong time‑management skills.
Ability to travel as necessary.
Experience & Education Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred.
Minimum two (2) years of experience in a marketing or equivalent field required, preferably in professional services.
Knowledge of relevant software and database experience preferred.
