Creative Operations Manager, Assistant Director
Join EY’s US Creative Services team as a high‑performing in‑house creative agency leader focused on delivering innovative go‑to‑market solutions for internal clients. You will manage day‑to‑day operations for a virtual team of 20‑30 creatives, driving quality, efficiency, and business growth.
The Opportunity Lead a multidisciplinary virtual team that creates insightful, results‑driven marketing materials. With prior management experience and industry knowledge, you will shape strategy, develop staff, and partner with account managers to meet client objectives. You’ll collaborate with senior managers across the organization, contributing to the firm’s creative vision and operational excellence.
Your Key Responsibilities Manage people‑management processes: staffing, training, supervision, coaching, performance management, and knowledge sharing. Set and drive team goals, identify training needs, and develop direction for team members. Own key performance indicators supporting financial and operational performance. Analyse team metrics and dashboards to make informed business decisions.
Collaborate with the account manager to develop operational account strategies that align with internal clients’ business objectives, ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, digital media, or a related discipline (or equivalent training and experience)
Eight‑plus years of creative management experience in a fast‑paced, matrixed agency or in‑house environment
Five‑plus years of supervisory experience leading and coaching creatives
Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, influencing, and persuasion abilities
Business acumen and strategic thinking skills
Proficiency in Mac and PC environments, Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook, Adobe Creative Cloud, and project‑tracking tools such as Workfront
Comprehensive knowledge of creative industry practices, digital trends, innovation, and technology
Experience working in a virtual environment, flexible for a hybrid arrangement (remote and local EY offices as required)
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience managing people in a virtual environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a time‑sensitive setting
Proven problem‑solving and navigation skills within a highly matrixed organization
