Role Overview As a

Marketing & Events Trainee , you’ll receive hands‑on, paid training to support the planning, execution, and promotion of fundraising and outreach events. This is an entry‑level role —

no prior experience required

— but you will gain exposure to event logistics, community engagement, and cause‑driven campaigns. With mentorship and coaching, you’ll build the foundation for a career in event marketing, nonprofit outreach, or campaign coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with event logistics: setup, teardown, staffing, and on‑site coordination

Represent nonprofit partners and campaign clients at events, activations, and outreach initiatives

Engage with the public: share campaign messaging, answer questions, and build positive interactions

Support fundraising efforts by encouraging donations, collecting lead information, and sharing mission details

Assist with promotional marketing: distribute collateral, set up signage, and maintain branding consistency

Track event metrics: gather data on engagement, sign‑ups, and overall event performance

Help with administrative tasks and maintain internal logs and reports

Shadow senior team members for campaign planning, brainstorming sessions, and post‑event evaluations

Participate in training workshops, coaching sessions, and ongoing development programs

Qualifications / Who You Are

Coachable, eager to learn, and motivated to grow in a public‑facing role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks

Flexible schedule — availability for occasional evening or weekend events

Outgoing, energetic, and professional demeanor

Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Bonus (but not required): Customer service, retail, hospitality, volunteer experience, or coursework related to marketing, communications, or nonprofit work
