Job Description This role is based in our Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, LA, New York, Las Vegas, or Phoenix Office. As the Marketing Operations & Data Manager, you will be an integral part of South Florida Ventures, working alongside the marketing teams and in collaboration with business stakeholders in management, sales, and registration. You will have strong knowledge of marketing operations and the data management and structures needed to support “smart” marketing. And to be a proactive self‑starter and possess an analytical and strategic mind‑set. You will be responsible for the optimization and management of data processes, procedures and policies to aid in streamlining and optimizing ROI on all marketing channels within South Florida Ventures. This resource, in close coordination with the marketing team, will help implement continuous optimization, process improvements, and ROI across all marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of data capture and management processes
Enforcing data quality, hygiene and retention processes in coordination with business guidelines
Management of data uploads and integrations
Data mapping and validations for platform integrations and APIs
Data queries, segmentation and CRM campaign builds
Enhance existing, and implement new, reporting and visualization tools
Data analysis to provide marketing and business insights
Oversee all aspects of data collection, protection, feeds, management and quality to provide the best possible base from which to segment, analyze, and report in support of marketing initiatives
Work towards continuous improvement of data collection/capture, management, feeds and reporting, devising strategies to improve data input, storage, normalization, standardization as well as output processes and procedures
Implement lead generation activities within the marketing technology stack, tracking campaign effectiveness, prospect engagement, and funnel advancement
Build simple and complex campaigns that consider engagement activity, personas and buying cycles
Work with data teams and business stakeholders to develop documentation and road maps for data processes and best practices
Build strong relationships with internal teams and leadership, influencing decision‑making and aligning efforts with overall business objectives
Support integration of data between various systems in the marketing technology stack
Perform data uploads, manual and via integrations, to keep data up‑to‑date and accurate for effective marketing communications
Query audience data and build lists for direct mail marketing programs
Perform segmentation of target audience for improved engagement and conversion, measuring results and optimizing data and segments to better convert leads to customers
Own the relationship with business, data, and technology teams, forging strong communication among all teams
Qualifications
Minimum 5‑7 years of experience working with data and database management including segmentation
Bachelor’s degree in data, business or technology
Experience working with structured and unstructured data sets
Strong technical skills, including experience with SQL
Excellent MS Office skills, particularly advanced Excel
Salesforce, GA4, Power BI experience required; Eloqua strongly preferred
Strong communication, interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills – able to communicate and present effectively with all levels of a multi‑national business
Flexible and responsive to changing needs and objectives
Good time management – ability to manage workload amid competing priorities and deadlines
Ability to work with limited supervision and show initiative
High attention to detail – right first time every time
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Strong project management skills
Love of puzzle solving, data, automation and technology
