Overview In this role, the Feature Animation Coordinator will assist the SVP of Feature Animation, Paramount and offer department‑wide support. The coordinator will work with the department to create workflows that streamline processes and communication while balancing administrative tasks and larger projects.
Responsibilities
Essential support includes managing calendar, scheduling meetings, answering phones, booking travel.
Coordinate all external and internal exec meetings plus meetings with productions; resolve conflicts on the calendar and communicate movement/changes.
Schedule and prepare for meetings by briefing attendees and providing materials.
Prepare monthly travel and expense reports.
Maintain digital and other files.
Show discretion with confidential business and creative information.
Identify areas within the department for continuous process improvement; work with department members to implement changes.
Take notes in creative meetings, pitches and presentations as needed.
Read and provide feedback on incoming development materials (scripts, screenings, decks).
Create genre reports for movies in development.
Author decks for creative presentations.
Provide coverage: logline, synopsis and analysis as needed.
Conduct longer‑term research projects.
Track progress on projects in production/development.
Assist on special projects for festivals, awards, studio initiatives.
Help assemble creative briefs, positioning documents and Greenlight materials.
Basic Qualifications
Experience as an Executive Assistant or Production Coordinator.
Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Final Draft, Key Note.
Knowledge of corporate organization and ability to navigate it.
Understanding of departmental business practices and necessary tools.
Additional Qualifications
Feature Animation experience a plus.
Excellent organizational, analytical, anticipatory, and written communication skills.
Able to work independently and juggle various projects at once.
Work effectively with time constraints; able to adjust direction with changing work situations.
Able to work successfully in a team environment accommodating various working styles.
Additional Information Hiring Salary Range: $52,000.00 - $60,000.00. The range applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and many other geographies. Starting pay depends on location, market demand, experience, training, and education.
