Key Responsibilities
Lead design projects from concept through construction completion.
Collaborate closely with clients to translate their lifestyle, needs, and preferences into functional, beautiful spaces.
Prepare detailed drawings, material selections, and specifications that balance design vision with build feasibility.
Work closely with project managers, estimators, and craftsmen to ensure seamless execution of designs.
Conduct client presentations and facilitate design approvals.
Participate in site visits to ensure design intent is maintained throughout construction.
Mentor and support junior designers, fostering a collaborative and growth‑oriented studio culture.
Stay current on design trends, sustainable materials, and best practices in residential remodeling.
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred but not required.
5+ years of residential interior design experience, ideally with exposure to design‑build or remodeling projects.
Strong portfolio showcasing creative, client‑centered residential design work.
Proficiency in Chief Architect, SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar software.
Excellent visualization, space planning, and material selection skills.
Knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and finishes.
Exceptional client communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000‑$90,000, based on experience.
Earn up to $10,000‑$20,000 in performance bonus.
