Furniture Designer Neal Beckstedt Studio • New York • Full-time • Salary: $50,000–$100,000 Job Description Seeking a talented candidate to spearhead design and coordination for all custom furniture for an acclaimed boutique architectural, interiors, and furniture gallery. The individual will work directly with the principal to manage and oversee all aspects of custom furniture for the studio and gallery from concept through installation. Responsibilities Lead design and coordination of custom furniture projects from concept to installation. Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. Communicate effectively with millworkers, upholsterers, and other vendors. Delegate tasks, manage drawings, pricing, and tracking for multiple projects. Prepare and update design presentations and renderings. Qualifications Minimum 4 years of experience in high‑end residential furniture design. Preferred experience in Connecticut and ability to work from New Canaan. Exceptional project management skills and strong attention to detail. Concise and thorough communication skills with principals and vendors. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. U.S. citizen or current work visa for full‑time employment in the U.S. Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic and passion for design.
