About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Information Architect / Confluence Content Specialist to lead a critical documentation migration project. This role involves moving complex technical content from SharePoint to Confluence, restructuring it into a clear, user-friendly knowledge base for engineering teams. You will design an intuitive information architecture, restore broken navigation, and create training materials to ensure smooth adoption of the new system.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and map existing technical content in SharePoint.
Plan and execute migration to Confluence, preserving metadata and relationships.
Design and implement a logical, consistent information architecture in Confluence.
Rebuild cross-linking and navigation paths for improved usability.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate taxonomy and structure.
Standardize templates and formatting for technical documentation.
Develop training guides and deliver onboarding sessions for internal users.
Required Skills & Experience Strong expertise in Confluence administration and content management. Experience with SharePoint migration projects. Solid understanding of information architecture and knowledge management principles. Familiarity with technical documentation workflows in engineering or software development. Ability to translate complex technical systems into accessible documentation. Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of embedded software development concepts. Experience creating training materials and user guides. Working knowledge of collaboration tools (Confluence, SharePoint, Git-based wikis).

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
