POSITION OVERVIEW Swoon is hiring a
Regional Field Marketing Manager ,
New York
to bring the brand to life through experiential activations in New York and key seasonal markets. Working closely with the Field & Shopper Marketing Director, this role will uncover and activate opportunities that boost brand visibility, spark trial, and connect with consumers in meaningful ways.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Plan, schedule, and execute field marketing initiatives including pop-ups, retail demos, guerrilla samplings, community activations, trade shows, and large-scale experiential events.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of 5–10 part-time “Swoonies” to represent the brand at events.
Ensure flawless event execution by communicating detailed activation plans covering infrastructure, staffing, footprint design, consumer engagement, and product education.
Partner with third-party agencies to develop and staff seasonal sampling activations in select markets outside of New York.
Cultivate the Swooniverse (a network of brand partners, influencers, and community organizations) to drive trial and amplify brand visibility.
Collaborate closely with local sales teams to support distributors and key retail accounts.
Coordinate with social media teams to extend event reach and share engaging content.
Manage inventory and logistics for all field marketing assets, including storage, deliveries, and product samples.
Contribute to the design and development of creative field marketing materials, swag, and merchandise.
Oversee maintenance and operations of sampling vehicles in market.
Track and reconcile budgets across event sponsorships, product allowances, part-time payroll, and operational expenses.
Deliver detailed recaps summarizing key metrics such as samples distributed, impressions, conversions, consumer feedback, and overall market impact.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, event permits, and certificates of insurance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Based in the NYC metro area and know the local scene.
3–5 years in field or experiential marketing — bonus points for beverage or CPG experience.
Confident leading a part-time team: hiring, training, providing performance feedback, and resolving issues when needed.
Comfortable working from Swoon’s Manhattan office one day a week for cross‑functional collaboration and occasionally visiting our Long Island City storage unit to load up on event materials before activations.
Valid driver’s license, clean record, and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves (and lifting up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable with a flexible schedule — evenings and weekends happen when the best events do.
Fluent in Google Workspace and stay organized across multiple projects.
Data doesn’t intimidate you. You use insights to make smart, impactful decisions.
Strong communicator who can connect with anyone and share ideas clearly.
Driven, resourceful, and results‑oriented. You make things happen.
