Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Scottsdale (Phoenix area), Arizona. This is a client facing role that requires you to meet with clients to present and discuss the design throughout the project. As an Interior Designer, you’ll be at the heart of our creative process. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and implementing design concepts, engaging in space planning, developing, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) that align with client needs, budget requirements, and project requirements. Interior Designer will be in charge of double checking measurements to make sure all FF&E will fit within the space.
Interior Designer will create mood boards and slide decks to present to the client to show the vision and goal of the design. Assist with the creation of documents, including but not limited to, spec packets, Schematic Design packets, Design Development packets and FF&E schedules.
Interior Designer will also communicate with vendors and contractors to obtain quotes, order samples, and coordinate deliveries for materials, furniture and furnishings. Interior Designer must maintain records for all orders and deliveries.
Interior Designer will be responsible for supervising and helping where needed during the installation process of the FF&E at the properties and must be able to travel (Arizona & U.S.) to the property. Interior Designer must ensure design is achieved according to the design plan and client's satisfaction.
Interior Designer must possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to resolve problems throughout the design process and while onsite, including but not limited to, out of stock items, missing furniture, incorrect items sent, and forgotten items.
Potential travel for marketing activities such as to attend networking meetings, events, and trade shows locally and out of state.

Qualifications
Must be located in Arizona and be able to commute to Scottsdale office.
3-5 years of post-graduate design experience.
Ability to travel throughout the U.S. (30%+ travel).
Strong skills in Space Planning and Interior Design.
Proficiency in reading Construction Drawings and working knowledge of architectural principles
Experience with FF&E selection and specifications
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for coordinating with clients and cross-functional teams.
Strong problem‑solving skills and self‑starter.
Strong project management skills, including attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Eager to learn and grow as an interior designer.
Willing to offer valuable insight and feedback within the company.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Canva, and Spoak.
Proficiency in Microsoft and Adobe suites.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
Preferred
Experience with purchasing.
Proficiency in Sketchup (Experience is a plus).
Experience in interior design for short-term rental properties.
Design construction drawings, which may include floor plans, elevation, along with the furniture layouts.
