Job Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) initiatives across the state
Create and edit custom ETL tools (FME & Python) for data processing and validation
Support underserved municipalities, tribes, and counties with GIS application development
Collaborate with other divisions to develop commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) GIS solutions
Conduct advanced database analysis and maintenance for GIS operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years of programming and analysis experience (or equivalent experience)
Knowledge of GIS software and relational database design as it applies to GIS
Familiarity with ArcGIS products including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS for Desktop
Experience with ETL tools and workflows through FME & Python
Strong communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications:
Introductory GIS Theory or basic GIS software training
