Content Communications Specialist
We are seeking a proactive and creative individual to join our team as a Content Communications Specialist. This role involves managing projects from concept through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned with performance metrics. The position requires strategic communication planning, content development, and visual design to support organizational objectives. The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator with strong initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication & Content Development
- Develop and execute strategic communication plans that align with business objectives.
- Create clear, concise, and engaging content for internal communications, documentation, and knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Conduct interviews and gather insights to produce articles highlighting team accomplishments and initiatives.
- Apply research and analytics to guide messaging and measure effectiveness.
- Ensure content is organized with appropriate taxonomy and metadata for consistency and accessibility.
Visual & Multimedia Content Creation
- Design professional graphics, infographics, and visual assets to support communication initiatives.
- Create content for internal platforms, including social media channels, digital signage, and newsletters.
- Develop short videos and multimedia materials to promote key messages.
- Maintain adherence to brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Experience with tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Collaboration & Engagement
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to promote knowledge sharing and awareness of organizational initiatives.
- Support internal events and campaigns that foster engagement and collaboration.
- Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence to manage tasks and maintain documentation.
Project Management & Execution
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines.
- Demonstrate initiative and problem‑solving skills, even with limited information.
- Maintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of relevant experience; exposure to multiple disciplines preferred.
- Proven expertise in writing, editing, and developing strategic communication plans.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Ability to perform market research and apply analytics to communication strategies.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multitask under pressure.
- Creative thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
