Position Summary Temporary Audio/Visual Technician Show Me Center – Part-Time, Variable Shifts

Position Available/Potential Start Date: 7/26/25

Primary Responsibilities

Physically set up all audio, video, and lighting equipment for events, including connecting cables, configuring settings, and ensuring proper functionality of all components

Operate the video board through LiveSync software at SEMO basketball games and other events

Operate TriCaster, an all-in-one integrated video production system, during events

Operate video cameras during events

Operate spotlights during events

Set up and control lighting scenes

Troubleshoot issues with audio-visual equipment

Work directly with clients to understand their AV needs prior to events

Communicate with event organizers and other team members during events

Cleaning, inspecting, and performing minor repairs of AV equipment

Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Ability to work evening and weekend shifts

A strong understanding of audio, video, and lighting equipment. Prior experience is a plus.

Demonstrated effective communication skills

Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues

Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, with or without accommodation

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
