Position
Structural Design Technician at Jacobs.
Base Pay Range $61,100 – $84,000 per year. Salary is determined hourly based on hours worked, location and experience.
Location Any location in the United States.
Responsibilities
Develop structural design concepts and create models from scratch.
Coordinate designs with clients and construction trade partners, considering existing conditions and other disciplines.
Convey structural requirements to the construction team through 2D paper deliverables and/or BIM 3D Revit models.
Lead a small project team of designers, establishing project standards, procedures, training and maintaining team morale.
Support the Built Environment team as part of the Advanced Manufacturing group.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of drafting/design experience in the structural field.
At least 1 year of Revit experience.
At least 3 years of AutoCAD design experience.
Preferred Experience
At least 2 additional years of Revit experience.
Experience working on traditional steel and concrete structures.
Experience leading a team of designers.
Experience with healthcare, institutional, or commercial buildings.
Experience with Navisworks and Bluebeam.
