is seeking a versatile and energetic full-time public safety reporter with an ear for breaking news and a passion for investigative reporting in beats covering courts to council meetings. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in journalism or a related field, experience writing for newspapers, and a solid understanding of journalistic ethics. Photography and video skills are highly desired. The successful candidate also should have a flair for feature writing.

The Goshen News is a 10,000 circulation daily with big ambitions, and we’re looking for reporters who want the chance to grow and aren’t afraid to take on challenging assignments. We are working hard to change the way local news is thought of and covered. Strong knowledge of social media in various formats is desirable. Successful candidates will have a passion for good, local journalism and experience in the field.

Goshen is a college town that boasts an eclectic Main Street and is a burgeoning, quality-of-life community.
