Position Summary

We are seeking an

Instructional Designer I

to support training initiatives across multiple business units. This role involves planning, designing, and developing instructional content for classroom, virtual, and e-learning environments. You will create engaging courses, perform needs assessments, evaluate learning effectiveness, and collaborate with trainers and subject matter experts. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

Assess training needs and recommend effective learning solutions.

Plan, design, and develop instructional courses and curricula.

Create and update LMS learning activities, assignments, and custom reports.

Develop instructional materials, graphics, job aids, and multimedia content.

Build engaging ILT, VILT, and self-paced learning experiences.

Test, evaluate, and refine training materials to ensure learning objectives are met.

Collaborate with stakeholders, trainers, and cross‑functional teams.

Conduct presentations, including to senior leadership.

Integrate feedback and course evaluations into updated content.

Assist in leading instructional design projects with multiple deliverables.

Support training teams on the proper use of course materials.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Training, Communications, or related field—or equivalent experience.

1–5 years of experience in instructional design, training development, or learning content creation.

Strong knowledge of instructional theory, adult learning principles, and educational psychology.

Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, and training development software.

Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging training content.

Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and presentation software.

Strong communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.

Ability to adapt to fast‑paced workflows and manage multiple priorities.

Desired Qualifications

Experience with multimedia‑based training.

Familiarity with financial services, products, or internal processes (preferred but not required).
