Position Summary The Senior Manager, Global Marketing – Auto Care Appearance Communications & Activation is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of global Appearance Communications Cycle Plans for all brands, developing global creative assets, and executing the annual integrated North American Marketing Plan to achieve sales, profit, brand, and share goals. This role stewards all Appearance brands, ensuring communications plans align with overarching business needs, setting equity and creative performance objectives, delivering marketing plans and executing creative components.
Responsibilities
Lead the strategy, positioning, and identity efforts for all Appearance brands and consumer targets
Lead Global Creative Development and manage the entire production process including research, development, reviews, production, editing, agency feedback, and asset delivery
Drive the development and deployment of the 3‑year Global Marketing Cycle Plan for Appearance branded communications
Set the overall communications strategy aligned with brand strategies based on company, consumer, competitive, and marketplace dynamics
Lead development of creative and messaging strategies, objectives, and tactics
Communicate Brands and Communications initiatives / key projects to include consumer rationale, supporting area assets, marketing guidelines, creative assets and customer sell‑in stories
Serve as the primary liaison to creative agencies including briefing, reviews, feedback, and compliance with SOW
Develop and deliver engaging deployment presentations to global colleagues
Lead and drive collaboration to deliver annual North American Marketing Plan
Develop Key Initiatives and supporting tactics for all Appearance brands, collaborating closely with cross‑functional sales and customer activation partners
Develop, execute, measure, and optimize North American promotions
Collaborate closely with the Media Team to develop media briefs, ensure aligned upon media plans meet brand and creative objectives, develop strategic creative rotation recommendations, and execute media trafficking
Lead strategic analysis and research plans to measure Brand Health and Consumer Perceptions in conjunction with Business Insights Team, track both creative and brand performance, develop recommendations to optimize results; partner to gain additional insights into consumers, brands, competition, etc.
Demonstrate an ongoing understanding of Auto Appearance business via analysis through key tools. Understand competitive intelligence and changing marketplace dynamics for input into global strategies
Develop and manage team of Communications and Activation colleagues
Partner with broader Auto Care Appearance Category team on critical initiatives, strategies, and support
Perform additional duties as assigned

Creative and messaging strategies for the brands

North American annual promotions strategy and execution

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA preferred
7+ years of experience in brand marketing or communications, ideally in CPG or related industries
Proven ability to lead global brand strategy, creative development, and agency management
Strong strategic thinking, communication, and presentation skills
Experience with integrated marketing plans, media alignment, and creative asset development
Skilled in cross‑functional collaboration and managing global stakeholders
Analytical mindset with experience using consumer insights and brand health metrics
Strong project management and leadership capabilities

The salary range for this position is USD $128,000.00/Yr. – USD $170,000.00/Yr. Actual base salary offered to a candidate may vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
